This is the puppy of our Pet Scruffs litter. You would not guess it from the matted ball in the carrier window, which is exactly the point: the floppy ears and the bright eyes only come out in the wash.
The puppy of the litter
Stands about 7.5 in (19 cm)
In the carrier
- 1 Pet Scruffs puppy plush
- Grooming comb
- Star-tag collar
- Adoption certificate
- Deluxe take-along carrier
How this rescue goes
The rescue takes three steps. Wash the ball of fur in warm soapy water until a puppy shape appears. Dry it with a towel and, with a grown-up, a hair dryer on a low setting. Then comb the coat until it stands up soft and full.
The Pet Scruffs litter has four pets to rescue, all pictured on the back of the carrier: this coral puppy, a lilac kitty, a pink bunny and a sky-blue pet with tall ears. The pack says it best: the fur is a clue to guess who. Coral fur behind the window means the puppy.
Good to know
- Begins as a tight ball of fur and washes out into a soft coral puppy
- A comb is included, and the more you brush the fluffier the coat gets
- Finish the rescue with the star collar and a name on the adoption certificate
- About 7.5 in (19 cm) tall once dry, easy to carry and easy to tuck into bed
- The purple carrier opens at the front so the puppy can ride along on trips
