What the name tag knows
A pet's tag carries a name and nothing more. This site works the same way, so this page is short.
On the tag
- The pages requested from our host, with a time and an IP address, kept in ordinary server logs
- Your email address and message, if you choose to write to us
Not on the tag
- Accounts or passwords
- Names, home addresses or phone numbers
- Card or payment details
- Sign-up forms or newsletters
- Anything knowingly collected from children
The small words, explained
- Server logs
- Our hosting provider records technical requests so the site stays fast and safe. We do not use them to follow individual visitors.
- Leaving for the partner store
- A buy button opens our listing on another company's site. From there, their privacy policy and their cookies apply, including ones that note which site sent you.
- A message to contact@scruffaluvs.org is used to answer you. We do not add you to a list, and old conversations are deleted.
- Children
- The site is written for the grown-ups who shop. If a child has written to us, a parent can ask us to delete the message.
- Your choices
- Ask us what we hold from your email, or ask us to erase it, at contact@scruffaluvs.org.
- Updates
- If the site starts doing something new, this page changes first.
